Momenteel zie je hier minder publieke optredens dan gewoonlijk. Zoals elke gezonde grond, heeft ook De Wilderness af en toe baat bij braakligging. Ik ga de komende tijd op onderzoek naar verloren zangtradities. Vrouwen die zongen tijdens dodenwakes bijvoorbeeld. Of begijnen die in de 12e en 13e eeuw meer oostelijk migreerden en hun liederen meenamen. Ballades die gelijkaardige routes kenden. Volg op mijn sociale media hoe het onderzoek verloopt, wie ik ontmoet, hoe we gaan samenwerken en waar ik en cour de route zoal zing.

At the moment, you’ll see fewer public performances here than usual. Like any healthy soil, De Wilderness also benefits from lying fallow from time to time. Over the coming period, I will be researching lost singing traditions: women who sang during death wakes, for example, or Beguines who migrated further east in the 12th and 13th centuries, carrying their songs with them. Ballads that travelled along similar routes. Follow my social media to see how the research unfolds, who I meet, how we will collaborate and where I sing along the route.
